Still watching Breaking Bad.. is that pathetic? No. I don’t think so. This show is so damn good I can’t even begin to explain! I also may or may not have gotten teary-eyed when I watched Jesse cry… Still not pathetic.
Snatch: Snatched for a long time. Probably 45 minutes. Worked up to a heavy double, took a teensy bit of weight off, and kept doing doubles. I keep looking at videos of people and watching them do things and changing my own form…. so there was all kinds of falling on my ass and missing today. Oh well!
Front Squat: 1 set x 5 reps at 75%, 3 sets x 3 reps at 85%, 1 set x AMRAP at 95%
Strict Pull Ups: 50. Been slacking on these lately…. After all the muscle ups and crap, my upper body has just been tired!
Then I played around with a fun little complex…. 1 deadlift + 1 hang squat clean thruster + 2 jerks + 4 front rack walking lunges. Didn’t do anything by the clock, just kind of a did a bunch of reps for fun. then did a few reps of the bear complex (1 deadlift + 1 thruster + 1 back squat + 1 push press = 1 rep)
Went home, at an absolute shitload, and came back for an evening session!

Worked on handstands, which didn’t really go very well. How do those freakin’ gymnasts do it?! Then I did another complex for only a few reps because my shoulders started hurting…. 1 power clean+ 1 jerk + 2 front rack weighted step ups.
Then, on a whim, decided to do open workout 13.2:
10 Minute AMRAP:
5 push press (115/75)
10 deadlift (same load)
15 box jumps
The hardest part of that was the box jumps. Your back and legs are burning like crazy, so jumping onto the box for 15 reps just blows! I loved this wod though… totally in my wheelhouse. Deadlifts and box jumps are my idea of a great wod!
