I’m feeling better today, even though I’ve been awake since 3:30 this morning. I’m not sure why I couldn’t sleep… I just woke up, feeling like I was ready to attack the day, saw the time on my phone, and said to myself… “What the?”. So, I decided to do some laundry and get some studying done… the studying just never ends! I would’ve gone to get a lengthy lift in, but my body feels like it’s actually falling apart. Hurt shoulder, hurt heel, hurt lower back, hurt knee…. Yikes. At times like this I remind myself that it’s important to take it easy and not get carried away. Luckily, being out here where I don’t have my beloved Crossfit Haven, it’s actually kind of hard to get carried away… considering half my energy is spent just getting myself motivated to workout in a crappy gym by myself.
Hang Power Snatch: Hit doubles. Worked up to about 80% today, did a couple sets, and backed off. I don’t want to hurt my shoulder any further.
Thrusters (From the floor): 10 sets x 2 reps as heavy as possible
Romanian Deadlifts: 5 sets x 4 reps
Single Arm KB Press: 5-5-5 per arm
Everything should be unbroken.
