Today was an amazing day of training BACK AT HAVEN!!!!!! We’re in the final stretch here… after this weekend is over, I have 17 days of school left!!! 17 DAYS OF LIVING IN THE ARMPIT OF ILLINOIS AND I’M DONE FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!! I CAN’T EVEN TELL YOU HOW EXCITED I AM!!!!! Last week of resting completely and doing tons and tons of mobility work clearly helped…. I felt great today with little to no pain! Let’s talk about all the stuff I did….

Snatch: Doubles at 90%, then drop down and do triples with 75%. I snatched for probably 45 minutes. I’d say I worked across 10-11 sets (probably more)

Snatch Pull: 2 sets x 2 reps @ 105%

Back Squat: Heavy single.

Pause Back Squat: After heavy single, drop down to 75% and do 3 sets x 3 reps, pausing 3 seconds at the bottom… raised the weight by 10 pounds for each set

Front Rack Reverse Lunge: 6-6-4-2. GO AS HEAVY AS YOU CAN—- YOU SHOULD GO TO NEARLY FAILURE ON THE LAST SET OF 2 (1 EACH LEG)

CleanJerk: Worked doubles across 5 sets. No, I didn’t forgot the “and” in “Clean and Jerk”. Basically this is a thruster except that you end in the jerk position. Drop down into a clean, come up, and jerk without resetting your hands or feet. It’s fun!

Jerk Supports: Work up to 100% of your max clean and jerk.

Mobility: 20 minutes
