Yesterday was my first workout back at my favorite place on this planet…. but I was a little rushed and didn’t really get done everything that I wanted to do. Today, though…. I lost my voice in the first hour just from yelling everyone’s names and singing and dancing and being happy as a little clam. It still hasn’t sunk in yet that I’m home for good…. HOLY SHIT, I’M HOME FOR GOOD!!!!!!! Let’s talk about what I did today …..
Snatch High Pull + Hang Snatch (1+1): Probably did like 10-12 sets. I did a whoooole lot…. staying at a pretty light weight still, fine tuning some small movement errors.
Skill: Butterfly Pullup- 60 total
Mobility: 20 minutes
Power Clean + Power Jerk (1+1): 10 sets @ 83%
Touch and Go Power clean and jerk: 3-3-3 @ 75%
Snatch Push Press Behind the neck: 2 sets x 3 reps @ 83%, 3 sets x 3 reps @ 87%
Deadlift: 3 sets x 3 reps @ 85%, 3 sets x 2 reps @ 87%
Weighted Strict Pullups: 8 sets x 3 reps + 35 pounds
So much fun today I can’t even tell you. And tomorrow/Sunday will be my weightlifting cert…. so I’m going to be sore as all hell! I need to actually try and sleep tonight…. Ha! We’ll see how that goes!
