I had to split Monday’s training into two days because I was a little busy getting my Beyonce tan on…. 80 DEGREES AND SUNNY ALL WEEKEND!!!!! I was a happy camper. So, here’s what I did on MONDAY morning:

3 Position Snatch- Floor, Below Knee, Above Knee– Max

Snatch Pulls: 3 reps x 4 sets @ 100% of 1RM snatch

3 Rounds: 

10 Thrusters (95/65)

8 Bar Facing Burpees

250m Uphill Run

Immediately into..

3 Rounds

5 Power Snatches (95/65)

10 Kettlebell swings (70# for me)

Then hopped into the enormous hot tub with huge ass jets and let my body relax.

Now we’re on to TUESDAY’S training….

Snatch Technique Work: Floor, drop, Mid Knee: Worked up to about 80%, did a couple sets, and stopped because my shoulder hurt.

Not great, but getting there.

Back Squat: Work up to a 5 Rep Max.

Push Press: Work up to a 5 rep max. I had to keep these to very very VERY heavy 3’s… because I tweaked my neck and have a pinch in my right shoulderblade that made it really painful to bring the bar down every time… let alone push it up!

Weighted Pullups:  5 sets x 3 reps + 35#

Pretty simple and easy breezy day…. any day where you max out will pretty much take it all out of you. Especially when it’s 5’s and 3’s…… MY ARCH NEMESIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
