Holy smokes was today a fun one full of lifting and lots of random shit! The days honestly just fly by… even though I’m at the gym pretty much all day long (aside from when I take a couple hours to throw down an enormous lunch 😀 ), it feels like nothing! The gym is just my happy place. Enough of this sappy crap, let’s get on with it! I’ve got all sorts of visuals for you guys today….

Morning Session:

Power Snatch: 70% x 3, 75% x 3, 80% 2 reps x 4 sets

Power Snatch from blocks (right above knee): 70% 2 reps x 3 sets, 82% 2 reps x 3 sets

Early arm bend. Ugh. Easy fix though. 

Power Clean + Power Jerk: 75% x 5 sets

Then came my AWESOME iced coffee with a few shots of espresso and about 500 calories worth of heavy whipping cream. Yeah, bitches.

Afternoon/evening session: 

Overhead Squat: 80% 2 reps x 5 sets (Move up in weight if these feel good. I felt good, so I moved up.)

Back Squat: WIDOW MAKERS! (20 rep back squat) I’m starting with 185 this week, and hoping that next week I can nail 200. Man that’s going to suck.

Just another day of lots of sweat, lots of work, lots of grunting, lots of reps, and lots of food. I’m already thinking about the insane amount of ice cream I’ll be eating come Thursday night. YES!
